Things to consider

Starting April 20, Transport Canada requires all passengers traveling through Canada to use non-medical face masks or face covers to cover their nose and mouth.

You must wear this mask:
• at checkpoints at the Canadian airport
• while boarding your flight
• at any time during the flight
• at the instruction of a crew member

Due to Transport Canada regulations, this is enforced through fines and police presence on arrival. Boarding may be denied if a face covering or non-medical mask is not made.

Starting August 7th, Transport Canada will now require all guests unable to wear a face mask due to existing medical conditions to provide an official medical notice from a doctor stating this exception. Otherwise they will be refused entry.

All notes are required to:
• issued by a doctor
• be on official letterhead
• be dated
• Make it clear that you have your name and that you have an illness that prevents you from wearing a mask
