A new target video as well as a range of PR activities are part of a new tourism recovery initiative led by Skål Samui to attract local and international tourists.
Debuting under the #RediscoverSamui banners and preparing to fall in love, the new promotional video features never-before-seen footage of the best experiences the island has to offer, from white sandy beaches to ethical nature experiences.

The campaign is aimed at mainstream media, bloggers and influencers who are invited to experience the goal for themselves.
The campaign’s key messages include the clean and safe attractions and environment of Samui, the improved wildlife condition during the tourism stop, the unmatched selection of hotels and private villas, the wide range of restaurants and entertainment options, and excellent access.
Lutz Mueller, President of Skål Samui, said, “Samui is fortunate to have a fantastic collection of world class hotels, resorts and spas and now it is time to ensure that Thailand’s travelers take advantage of what is on their doorstep lies.”
The campaign, carried out by members of Skål Samui, a chapter of the global hotel and travel organization SKAL International, underlines the overall mission of the organization, Connecting Global Tourism.
The new video is available to all Skål Samui members and partners for their own promotional purposes and can be adapted if necessary at an additional cost.
