(CNN) – A pop-up restaurant at Singapore Airport sold out for reservations 30 minutes after it opened.
Singapore Airlines is responsible for the popular A380 restaurant at Changi Airport. The unique restaurant is a culinary experience on board an Airbus A380, the largest passenger aircraft in the world.
In response to demand at the opening of reservations on October 12th, SIA has reopened the waiting list and added two more days to allow more customers for lunch and dinner.
Special menus correspond to each cabin class.
The restaurant was originally only supposed to be open October 24th and 25th, but the airline added October 31st and November 1st.
“We appreciate the tremendous support from our customers and look forward to welcoming them to the A380 Changi Restaurant,” said Lee Lik Hsin, SIA’s Executive Vice President Commercial, in a press release.
The airline will use two of their jumbo jets for the experience. Customers can choose between cabin classes and special menus to suit each level.
The first-class seating includes a five-course menu with a cheese and fruit course.
The menus depend on the choice of cabin class.
“All guests receive KrisShop discounts, a limited edition goodie bag and additional gifts when they show up in traditional clothing,” said the first press release.
Only half of the seats on the plane will be available to ensure adequate social distance. The lucky guests who were removed from the waiting list really had a unique experience.
